As a philosophical vagabond, Miriam has learned the importance of those things often dismissed or misunderstood—like whimsy, wonder, and wildness. Throughout her years of exploration, she's discovered many hidden treasures and surprisingly effective tools, which she's tucked away in her metaphorical knapsack of traveling essentials.

In Incandescent You, Miriam shares her favorites of these gems in the hopes they might comfort other travelers and help them remember they are each flames in the darkness and the brighter they shine, the easier this adventure will be for everyone.

Miriam has decades of experience exploring the esoteric, ineffable, and unknowable through a carefully crafted lens that fuses playfulness and critical thinking. She abhors anything that misdirects our vital but finite inner resources, confounds our sense of self, or tricks us into using our glorious creative spark in service to dark things.

For over 20 years, Miriam has enjoyed playing with divination tools like numerology, but insists on doing so in ways that facilitate our own inner guidance systems—never to give our power away. She has 30 years of professional experience transforming complex concepts into engaging, accessible learning experiences for a wide variety of audiences.

Miriam is a balladeer (singer/songwriter) with an ever-growing collection of songs injected with her unique insights and sass. And through decades of designing visual art, she's learned the importance of balancing attitude with elegance in every creative project, including life itself.

As a survivor of a life-long illness, too-long undiagnosed neurodivergence, and an abusive belief system, Miriam's compassion and love for humanity springs from a deep well of experience. It is because she knows the full power of the darkness that she believes so strongly in the awesome incandescence of the human spirit.
